Upcoming Chorus EVENTS:
Hispanic & Latino Heritage Celebration​
Tuesday October 21st, 2025
Students are to stay after school for practice and dress rehearsal. The performance will start @ 6:00pm.
The Silverhawks Chorus will be first to perform.

Winter Holiday Concert​
Monday December 15th, 2025
Call time for students: 5:00pm.
The performance will start @ 6:00pm.
This Concert will be together with the String and Band program. The Silverhawks Chorus will be first to perform.

Hi! I’m Ms. Barazarte and this is my Music classroom website.
Hi! I am Mrs. Barazarte, AKA Mrs. B. I’m the General Music teacher for grades K-5 at Windy Ridge and I’m super happy to be part of the Silverhawks faculty!
​
I began my adventure as an Elementary Music Teacher in 2018 and right away fell in love with it. I have a very diverse background in music and love sharing my experience with students. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from Stetson University (DeLand, FL) specializing in Flute and Voice, and completed my Teacher Certification through the OCPS Professional Development Certification Program. I am a proud product of OCPS having also graduated from Gotha Middle School and Dr. Phillips High School's Visuals Performing Arts magnet program.
I have traveled to over 16 different countries and was born in Caracas, Venezuela . Because of this I love teaching about different cultures around the world through music. Aside from Teaching music, I love performing as a professional flutist and currently hold the 2nd flute and piccolo chair for The Villages Philharmonic Orchestra. I also play flute and sing at church, and make music with my family (I'm a mom of 3 handsome boys who, along with my husband, also love music!).
